Jordan came all the way from Italy to visit for the weekend!!!
Here's what we did:
DAY ONE:We picked him up from his bus and took him on his first ever tube ride
So much joy |
We took Jordan to his first ever British Pub, the Calthorpe Arms, and he got some cider. We were so proud we had to take pictures.
All grown up! |
DAY TWO:
We went to Platform 9 3/4....Dobby was up to his tricks again.
We showed Jordan the UCL library
We stopped for lunch and got scones, tea, and hot chocolate to warm up
Candid |
Drinking a delicious bowl...that's right, BOWL, of hot chocolate! |
Scones with cream and jam |
We showed Jordan Trafalger Square and the National Gallery
Trafalger Square |
The National Gallery-my personal favorite |
Counting down to the Olympics We had to buy hats because it was absolutely freezing |
We went to the City of Westminster so Jordan could see Big Ben, Westminster Abbey, and Parliament
Uh...a guard on a horse...don't know anything more about that one |
The Cabinet War Rooms |
We walked across the Thames
...To the Royal Courts of Justice
I don't know why this happened, but it so did. |
We collapsed in the lobby of my flat.
We cuddled.
DAY THREE:
We went to go see the Changing of the Guard at Buckingham Palace
Jordan got his first ever fish and chips!
We saw Westminster Cathedral
We went to a free tea hosted by Alumnae of Seven Sisters Schools for students abroad in England at the Tate Britain.
That night we tried and failed to see the Super Bowl...but we watched Remember the Titans in Mike's room instead!
And then...
Sadly, we said goodbye...but we'll see you again soon, Jordan!
