Borough Market (i.e. you guessed it, another post about food)

On Saturday, Amy, Jason, Maia, Bailey, Tarini, and I all went to the Borough Market--which for all you Philadelphians is a giant, outdoor Reading Terminal Market.

We walked around and gorged ourselves on free samples, I was so full I didn't eat lunch or dinner that day!

Trying some samples

I had a sample of these brownies-they were fantastic

I did not try a sample of the pig leg, however

Had to take a picture of the biltong (dried meat) for Amy and Devon.
...I was also was intrigued by beer-sticks...still don't know what those are

Gotta love the slogans-Holier than thou bread (The bread had a hole in it)

Couldn't resist taking a picture of this passive aggressive sign

I found the chocolate samples!

Turkish delight! All I could think of was The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe.

Keeping it spicy

Even though I was full from samples, I couldn't resist buying a few things, so I got a delicious sourdough loaf of bread (which I am nibbling at as I blog), homemade fig jam, and some scrumptous chocolate-covered almonds (which I already finished two days ago).
My spoils

We all took our loot in the courtyard of the Southwark Cathedral.

The whole gang!

p.s. Since I'm already posting about food:

I just have to show off the eggs I made the other day...I've gotten really good at flipping eggs with a butter knife!

No broken yokes this time!
